| Ms. Preis, Rm 9 | mpreis@bcps.org | Ms. Preis is embarking on her seventh year of teaching third grade, this being her fifth year at Relay. She has a B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Frostburg State University and will receive her M.E.D in At-Risk Youth from Goucher College in the Spring of 2008. Ms. Preis enjoys being outdoors, especially when she is walking, jogging, or biking. Ms. Preis also loves to read; Jodi Picoult is her favorite adult author and Roald Dahl is her favorite children's book author. Ms. Preis's favorite color is purple and she can always be found listening to Jimmy Buffett. |

Mr. Schwartz graduated from Towson State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After working in the retail field for thirteen years he returned to education and earned a Master's degree from Loyola College in Curriculum and Instruction. He has taught first grade and second grade at Relay. His passion is teaching math and science. Outside the school he enjoys working on stage as both and actor and in the tech. crew. |
| Ms. Sohn, Rm 8 | Ms. Sohn joins us at Relay in 2007. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Salisbury University. She spent this summer travelling around Europe (Iceland, Poland, Denmark, Sweeden, Australia, and Germany) meeting different authors and illustrators. |
