Mrs. Benson has been teaching at Relay since 1998. She has a B.A. from McDaniel College, a M. S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins and a teaching certification from UMBC. Although she claims to be a propeller head (i.e., geek) at heart, she really has a lot of other interests too. For example, she likes reading, going out to eat, and watching basketball games. She lives in Catsonsville with her husband and is "visited by" her two college age children. |

She has a B.A. in Art Generalism with a focus on Sculpture and K-12 Education Certification from Lycoming College. She is a working artist focusing on clay sculpture and papercutting. She is also an accomplished equestrian and avid antique collector. She currently lives in N.E Baltimore city with her fiancé. |

Mrs. Cleland is in her 29th year of teaching in Baltimore County Schools. She has taught at Relay since 1997. She has her music and teaching degrees from Towson University. Mrs. Cleland's hobbies include working with dogs, reading, and enjoying sports of all kinds. She supports the arts throughout the community and for 12 years sang in the Handel Choir of Baltimore. She also participates in amateur theater productions. Mrs. Cleland taught at Arbutus Elementary for many years and has taught the parents of many students she now teaches at Relay! |

| Mrs. Leppert, Physical Education | pleppert@bcps.org | Mrs. Leppert has a P.E. degree from Towson University and a Masters degree in Special Education from Loyola College. She has taught at eleven different elementary, middle, and special education schools in four areas of Baltimore County. Since 1983 she's been at the best school in the "southwest" -- Relay Elementary! She lives in the Overlea-Fullerton area with her husband and two sons. When she's not watching her sons play soccer and lacrosse, she enjoys exercising and reading. |

Mrs. Stevenson has been teaching at Relay Elementary since 1992. She is the Media Specialist/Librarian and the school. She has a B.S. Degree in Education from Salisbury University and Library Media/Instructional Technology certification from Towson University. She loves reading children's books and weekend trips to the ocean. She lives in Relay in the original 1863 Relay One Room Schoolhouse with her family and Jack Russell terrier. |
